That looks a beaut Kev, is it auto or manual? B)

Got to have an auto for the OH Parksy, all though she passed her test in a manual and I had an auto at the time she got used to it and wont now drive a manual, indeed a few years back I got her 3 driving lessons, the first one was to learn to drive a manual and the second two were for motorway driving (Thats another story) any way after her first lesson the instructor requested nicely that she stuck to an auto, his clutch was nearly burnt out!!

Snap, same colour same spec, ours is manual, confident you won't be disappointed

As just mentioned ours is the Auto version so probably be a bit more juicier than the manual, but not too much too worry about, do you know what your MPG is woodsieboy, and I'm sure I wont be dissapointed,

Nice looking tug! I looked at them before I bought mine and just couldn't stretch to the extra money, seems to be in good condition.

Depending on conditions speed etc I am normally getting mid twenties when towing, and I usually stay in 2 wheel drive, after advice from others on this forum a while ago, when towing on road. Solo I can average low thirties but needs to be driven gently,I have looked at newer models and all but the basic spec seem to be auto, also enjoyed an off road demo at Cirencester Park courtesy of Mitsubishi, and they were using Autos, very impressive,I was nearly tempted, until the sales lady admitted ours would do everything that the new ones do. Watch out for rear suspension bushes that can wear, and wheel bearings, neither are that expensive to replace, other than those our only other expense was a crankshaft pulley at about 40k which needed replacing, as the built in rubber damper had separated. Ours also seems to go through brake pads quite quickly I think the pads are quite small for the size of discs, altogether it has been our best tow car to date.

Very nice. I'm seriously thinking of getting a new tow car, as mine is very thirsty, this is going on my list.

Hi Dave, looked at the BMW X5, Volvo XC90, Santa Fe and quick look at Kia Sorento, decided on this one due to better value for money, ie; two to three years newer for same ££££'s , good luck in your search.
On a sour note for me, a week later I saw another one £1,000.00 cheaper!!!!

Swapped out a Volvo XC70 for the Shoggy, loved the Volvo, worship the Shoggy. Harsh ride but I expected that. This is the 197 version, getting between 19 and 22 Urban, can get into low to mid 30's on a good road. Havent towed with it yet.
