FAO Lord B

Just read your reply in the New Forest thread and knowing you have dogs. We are going to the Black Knowle site in May and I know the site dosen't have a dog walk. What do you do about the dogs first thing in the morning loo break. Is it a matter of siting your van near the entrance to the the site or are there other ways of getting into the forest off site. My two dogs are useually pretty keen to relieve themselves in the morning whatever time we get up!!!

We have 3 dogs but one of them is like yours, desperate first thing in the morning. We were lucky because we were pitched near the entrance and then it was a mad dash. Once out through the gate though you can walk miles and it's all level. To my knowledge theres no other walks except through the entrance.

Alternatively, cancel your booking and go to Wareham Forest Park. Lots of entrances into the forest, and more miles of walking than you'll ever need. Lovely site too.
