FAO Mondeo TDCI owners

I have recently acquired a Mondeo tdci 130 and noticed a that when the revs reached 1500/2000 there was a vibrating noise from the engine bay which disappeared after 2000 revs.

Apparently this is a common fault so after searching through the Mondeo forums I have found a quick fix so if you have this noise on your Mondeo have a look at this

I bought a 53-reg Mondeo LX 130 TDCi with 2500 miles on the clock in 2004, which had exactly the same very irritating symptom. Bristol Street Ford said it was a turbo down-pipe vibration, for which they were working on a solution. They tried out three on mine, and the last one cured it completely. This was all done under warranty. Might be a good idea to talk to your local Ford people, if you haven't already.
