Finally got my Pulse back

After all these years I have finally got my pulse back. 31 years to be exact. After watching some videos on YouTube I decided to have a go myself. This was a delicate operation, so I took my time, didn't want any slip ups. After a few well placed and delicate incisions I was in. Removed the old battery and replaced with a new one. Success! After a quick patch up, I'm pleased to say my Pulse is back to normal, as good as the day I bought it. 😀

About 20 years ago, everyone was out of the house, I put on my Blue Oyster cult, " Don't fear the reaper Man " nice and loud, eldest son about 21 then came in and said where did you get that, it is New, I pointed out it was a very old Cassette, Kids Eh.

What the problem these days is social media. In our youth ( Me and Hutch ) would go down to the pub and watch 4 or 5 lads banging out tunes. That was the way to get recognised, slogging round pubs and clubs. Nowadays they just go onto social media, and next thing they are top of the pops. Bring back the good old days.

I was there….. fantastic night!

Well I suspect I am old enough to have been around, most probably too old to know what this is all about, or been involved.
On second thoughts I hope its not something I have forgotten, that would be even more a worry.

I remember that colour picture on the album sleeve and I would have been classed as an old fogey even then! Kids today will never know or understand what proper music is all about!

Wow!!!

I have a signed CD from the band, including the signature of Richard Wright.
25 yrs ago I rented a property in Long Compton, Warwickshire, and the lady in the flat below ( it was a lodge house divided in two for rental), worked for them as an accountant and she got it for me.
