Flush water fill lock broken

The lock centre came out with the key this weekend. Is this a at home repair job, and how do I make it stay in place? Terry, Devon.

There should be a holding pin or other such device to keep the lock in place. If the key is stuck in the lock then you can buy replacement barrels for these. Take it to any dealership and they will be able to advise. Hada similar problem recently although this was with my main van door.
