Do you think the Ford cougar 2.5 v6 would be a good towcar?

Any comments would be a benifit or any personal preferences.

I've found towbars listed for the Cougar and it's approved to tow up to 1500kg.

I don't know what an Abi Tristar weighs fully laden, but I suspect that it's both less than the towload limit of a Cougar and less than the car's kerbweight, too, but maybe someone else has more information.
