Ford Ranger

Can I ask does anyone tow with the ford ranger? I would like to purchase the xl version double cab 2ltr manual diesel 6 speed.
Would be nice to hear any pros or cons about it.

We tow our Adria Adora Seine with Ford Ranger XLT. We've towed with it for about 18 months. We have the roll top back. It's 2ltr manual diesel.

It certainly doesn't struggle to tow our van which is fairly large at 8.2 metres. If it's your only car you may find it more of an issue when your not towing. It's not really an everyday vehicle depending on what you do.

When away we are aware it won't get into most multi storey car parks, it's too tall to get under the height restrictions.

We are happy with it and sometimes the 4WD is handy. But we do have a second car which we use for most of our everyday driving.

I have a cab on the back that is very handy.

Ford Ranger is brilliant which is why it is one of the most stolen cars in the UK. Our neighbour had his stolen about a month ago and it was less than 3 months old.

Although the Ranger has a 3.0 diesel in some markets, I believe the UK version has 3.0 petrol - so probably needs two bowsers!

Nope, 3.0 V6 Diesel.
I have a company fuel card so don’t need to be concerned about MPG.

Towing anything from 19-22
I didn’t get it for it’s frugal running costs tbh
It is a fantastic piece of kit
