France - Croix Haute Pass

Has anyone towed South from Grenoble on the N75 and over the Croix Haute to Sisteron? What's it like please - any difficult bits? We'd be going over during the first weekend in May. Outfit is Mondeo 130 TDCi and 1050kg MTPLM van.

When we travelled this area, we used the N85 to continue south. We'd been staying at Bourg-d'Oisans, so the N85 was nearer. At the time, I was towing at close to 100% weight ratio, but don't recall any difficuly with the roads.
 
Piece of cake, did the criox de haute a few years back with a mazda 626, 108 bhp, pulling 1000 kg in slow moving trafic. From the north heading south is a bit twisty and steep but nothing worry about. From the south going north its just a long steady climb. Enjoy the scenery en route
