Freshwater East, Pembrokeshire

Off for a few weeks tomorrow. No phone calls so I think site will be fine. Don't think it's prone to floods anyway.

I refuse to pay for Wi Fi on site, Not the CC rates but the independent contractors. So no surfing for me.

Ah well , I'll make do with Blue Peter. Need to use the bog roll tubes for something.

Cheers

Alan

I think you might find Freshwater East is prone to flooding as quite a few holidays were cancelled just a few weeks ago whilst we were staying at Pembroke. Bearing in mind that Kiln Park at Tenby resembles a lake at the same time - it may be worth checking, although I realised that the CC should contact you. Having been passed the site, it is in a valley so I would just give them a quick call to check.

Hi Alan,

As mentioned the site is prone to flooding and our friends had a call to say they were flooded out last week!

The site is in a lovely position but dont forget to take an aerial cable as even the best aerial doesnt get signal.

Also a point to make is that the stream running down the beach has disease in it which makes humans (and dogs) very sick, so if exercising your dogs off the lead ensure they are away from the river.

Lovely location to explore Pembrokeshire

Ian
