Morrisons at Hamilton were down to £181.9 and £191.9 when we were there on Monday, this is a very competitive area with all of the big four having sites and most of the oil companies there as well. Passed their one at Glasgow Fort yesterday where there is less competition and they were 2 p dearer, so they are pricing in line with local conditions.

Presumably they think people going in in the morning will not have time to fill up, so take advantage of those going home who have the time.

It really gets my goat. On Tuesday diesel was:-
Morrisons (Esso) station Selby £1.895 (and this station is not at the store but out of town on the A1041!)
Sainsburys Monks Cross York £1.919 (retail park)
Morrisons Harrogate £193.4

Clearly Harrogate citizens are deemed wealthier than Selby citizens by Morrisons pricing algorithms.

Fuel is going down in my area in Lincolnshire saw diesel at £189.7

Near Lutterworth I paid £1.90 a litre for diesel less my discount takes it down to £1.86 a litre.. Back home it is still £1.93 a litre.

Checking we last refilled on 7th July before filling up for this trip. Today was an unnecessary top up because of low price. On average I probably fill up the Jeep once every 3 - 4 weeks.

Wow ,this morning even our dearest garage is down to 184.9

Passed a garage going to the caravan storage this morning diesel was 182.9
