gas

hi

just a quick wonder, in our van we have a 4.5kg calor butane bottle and inside a 7kg handy gas i am trying to get exchanged for a 4.5kg, in the meantime we are going away for 6 nights next month. the only thing the gas would be used for is the cooker so im just asking how long a 4.5kg normally lasts on average?

Afternoon Danny,

I have a calorlite bottle, again like you just use it for the cooker, it can last a good 2-3 months depending on use. we used otus at Easter for boiling the kettle frequenly for tea and washing up (as had no running water) used it for the cookfer for 5 nights and the needle hasn't moved. I anticipate that i will use it first May b/h and also a week away in June for 8 nights and the needle will probably only move to halfway.

Cheers

Rob.
