Heater Guard-safe babies

Hi everyone. Our nine month old daughter has started "exploring" the inside of the van. Has anyone any suggestions or ideas for fixed fire guards for Truma type wall heaters? The comercial type of fireguards that are available seem to be manufactured with domestic fireplaces and mantlepieces in mind and are HUGE. Thanks

I looked when our boy was just starting exploring, could not find anything suitable, searched on truma's website at the time and as far as i could assertain they make not guard.

However if it is the heat you are worried about, I have always run the heater with the hot air blowing fans on, as this pulls cooler air from infront of the heater before passing it over the heat exchanger and out as hot air down the ducts, doing this the heater front does not get hot at all.

So we have never had a problem with it really.

Regards

Mark
