Which gas are you using, propane is best for colder weather, as Butane will NOT boil off at low temperatures. Does the gas cooker work?
Can you check your battery voltage, and are you on electric Hook up. ?

Gas working, hook up connected and working, and until this morning we had hot water... now neither. And no control panel.
Good job we got the fan heater.

But are either of these working on the Alde?
If they are then any fresh water in the Alde has to be heated, getting it out is the next issue.
First easy check, is the tube leaving the Alde boiler that goes to the header tank, hot? If either the gas or electrical systems are working it very soon will be pretty hot at least right close to the boiler.
If its not then neither is working, and we can start addressing why.

By the way, Alde UK's technical team are great at talking you though these types of issues and anything out of my knowledge on these that's who I would chat with.

Its control panel not "working" points us towards an electrical control issue, Alde will guide you to where that is fused onboard.

If you have not got the manual(s) for your kit they could be here LINK

First place to look if the control panel is off/no 12v at the heater would be the 12v fuse that is probably on the consumer circuit not that says boiler

there is a connector link available from Alde which plugs into the main unit which will bypass the display until and bring the unit on . I've never used it as when a display has 'gone dead but 12V available into main unit Ive replaced the inbuilt fuse which has fixed . when replacing ATC fuses I use resettable fuses from 12V planet , just in case
