Hi all!

Very excited to have recently been given a caravan to do up! Yes, GIVEN! It's about as old as I am, but I'm looking forward to getting stuck in!!

My name is Emma, and I'm from North Wales - land of the caravans! I'm just about to turn 28, and now feel ever so grown-up for owning a caravan - I last felt this grown-up when we bought our first house a couple of years back. The caravan is the cheaper option by far!!

Been camping for years but am new to caravanning. It'll be a while before we actually get it on the road, as we both took our driving tests post-1997 so will have to do tests. And the 4x4 needs a new turbo as it's PAINFULLY slow unladen even so has no chance with a van in tow! But in the meantime I'll have fun doing out the van and hopefully we'll have it (and ourselves) ready for holiday season next year :)

so, HELLLOOO!!! :)

Hi Emma. Welcome to caravanning and to this forum. There are a few doer-uppers on here so if you have any questions, post in the Technical section and someone will help. They like photos.

Hi Emma
Welcome !! Plenty of very clever people on here who will be able to advise you on any problems you encounter on your restoration project.
What make and model is it ( she / he).
Have you christened it yet

Congratulations on your new acquisition, I'm sure that you'll enjoy refurbishing the caravan to suit your own tastes and if there's anything you want to know about just ask, don't be shy.
What kind of 4x4 do you have?
