Help!!!! cc site near a pub

Can anyone tell me of a caravan club site that is in walking distance to a pub. They don,t seem to say much about local pubs in the handbook that are near by, we are not a alcoholics but but we do like a drink at the end of the day. We do have children 11 years and 9 years so a child freindly pub and somewhere to have an occasional meal. We live in East Sussex so no further North than Derbyshire.

CC Minehead, there's a social club which lets in kids and a good chinky within five min walk.

Bones, just a couple which spring to mind, Crossways near Weymouth, Wareham - Dorset,Putts Corner - Sidmouth, Black Horse Farm - Folkestone.

Hope thats useful, probably more but not aware of any as these are the sites we have stayed with a pub nearby.

The CC site at Broadway in the Cotswolds is within walking distance of several pubs / restaurants (it's a really nice site too).

Also Moreton in the Marsh village is a 5 minute walk from the site witj plenty of places to choose from......and best of all is Knaresborough CC site......

They have a small eatery with a bar on site !!!Not a rowdy one.

How about the new site at Hillhead Devon,which seems to have everything.

Meathop fell CC site has a hotel next door to the site.....haven't actually used it so can't say whther it is any good or not.

I think Morn Hill CC in Winchester has a Brewers Fayre chain pub almost next to the entrance of the site. (From memory...)

In addition to all the main CC sites already mentioned there are quite a lot of CLs at pubs. Used to be a very nice one at Pewsey, Wiltshire
