Help re: New Kia Sportage!

Hi all - wonder if anyone can give me some advice?
I have a 2004 Kia Sorento at present which tows my Compass Liberte 18/4 like a dream. Unfortunatly, for tax reasons I'm having to sell this soon and have looked at leasing a brand new Kia Sportage 1.7 Diesel.
However - I'm finding it really unclear whether this will be a match for the van - the compass weight is 1460kg.
Can anyone shed any light on this please - any help would be appreciated.

Hi , The Kia website says that for a 1.7 Sportage the max towing weight for a braked trailer is 1200kg and the tow ball weight is 50kg.

do they stilll do the 2.0l crdi in xs or xe trim.. i have the 2007 from new and tows my charisma 565with 2 kids etc with ease.
