hello nicola, my first site would be keswick caravan and camping club site, does get booked up though. i think it would be perfect, if you dont want all singing all dancing. we took our 4 year old grandaughter with us she loved it, didnt get back this year due to flooding. not been to the cotswolds, sorry. regards ED

i like broadway cc site. not to big open plan. wide rd around site, huge pitches, small play area enclosed so no big kids allowed. its about 15/20 mins to walk into broadway. very pretty chocolate box village in a stunning location. whilst in the cotswolds you must visit bourton on the water, moreton in the marsh oh and broadway dont forget stratford either.

Grange over Sands CC site in the Lake District is very attractive. Quiet and a pub next door. However, the usual problem of weekends being booked up. It is 10 miles from the bottom of Lake Windermere and good to vist B. Potter land.

Thanks. Been to broadway before and it was lovely. Any suggestions in shropshire as well as I thought I could go to drayton manor and still be close enough to liverpool for ferry home. ta

Hi Nicola. I am fairly sure that Drayton Manor theme Park has its own caravan site. I've never stayed there myself so can't say much more. May be a thought if you just want an overnight stop either side of an arduous theme park day!
