Just watched the above programme with some surprise and maybe scepticism.

Their "Boffin" said caravan tyres should be changed every three years.

I failed as mine get changed every five.

He said the caravan should be level when hitched not nose high or low. I know our Prof has stated his case many a time on this aspect , so John please don't shoot me.

Quite frankly I found some of their comments contrary to a lot of our views and advice on this forum.
So I am sticking to PCv Forum

I also watched that programme and have emailed the Higways Agency demanding a public withdrawal of that statement.
The previous recommendation was 5 years, which was increased to 7 years.

It goes without saying that tyre replacement is dependednt on condition of tyres within the time limits, and if they show any signs of damage they should be replaced without waiting for either 3 years, 5 years or 7 years.

only the world minus one to go now!

I haven't seen the programme but in vast majority of combinations the caravan won't or even can't be level.
