House Cooker

Getting a new cooker for the house next week. Is it easy to wire in? Do i just flick the switch on the consumer unit to kill the power? or should i leave it for a sparkie?

but if you are asking the question, get an electrician to connect it, Normally you would get the option from the supplier, ie AO, Currys etc, for there people to connect it for about £25 , just going from my last purchase.

Don't mess with electricity!
Take all the stress out of it and let the suppliers take care of the installation.

There's also the fact if they **** it up it won't invalidate any warranty whereas if you do it!!

It depends on you competencies, and has been pointed out it might affect your warranty.

I have considerable experience and would have done it without hesitation. Nowadays though, I would call my qualified grandson.

But if you need to ask, I would suggest you don’t have sufficient competence.
