How depressing

Just bought my first ever electric blanket today. That's it - I'm officially old now I suppose.................

Yes, it is, nothing wrong with your eyesight. The blanket is in the bag which you can't see in this photo.

"The blanket is in the bag which you can't see in this photo".

I think the advances in technology etc are brilliant. I can't see your colostomy bag at all, even though there's an electric blanket in it. You've got no worries about anyone else noticing it and you being embarrassed.

I agree - good legs for an old bird. Those sensible shoes look really nice too. And you have proved that you're never too old to dress up in leather.

Rob,

Happy Birthday for tomorrow.

We've just come back from the Caravan Exhibition in Glasgow and were asking Kenny if he had seen you....obviously the answer was no !

Buying a ticket this morning was the worst I have ever seen it.Had to walk the entire length of the SECC and join a queue which was almost out the back door....what a joke. They have ticket booths at both ends so why not use them?

I suppose we need something to moan about :O)

Frank,

You shouldn't have a problem with queueing with advance tickets as there were loads of places to hand them in.I'm in a moaning mood today so am going to contact the organisers and complain about lack of ticket booths for the rest of us. 😱(

The show was no better nor worse than it usually is....but we always end up going!!

Didn't have any car parking charges as we went on the train.

A few years back we went to the Birmingham show which I thought was great....a really huge affair, but of course we don't have the population up here to carry one that big.

Managed to chat to the Scottish Caravan Club sites manager to

ask when we are getting some new sites up here.....getting tired of opening up the magazine and seeing announcements about new sites down south....after all it is a National Club.Apparently it is on the cards that Kinlochewe is being refurbished next winter, but he didn't have anything else to tell us !!

Hope you enjoy your day.

Lady Maureen, as someone who is now, supposedly, a member of the establishment, why on earth didn't you buy advance booking tickets with a V.I.P. pass? The last thing I would have thought you wanted was to queue with the riff raff. I do pray you weren't wearing your family crest and tiara.

Lord B,

It is so easy to forget how those on the other side of the fence have to survive.Every now and then,I just like to be reminded 😱) 😱) Heh,heh as you would say.

As the song goes " I bet you were a beautiful baby, I bet you were a beautiful doll, When you were only starting to go to kindergarten, I bet you drove the other kids wild ......." If only I was a bit younger - mind is now wandering to other things besides caravan topics.......
