Hyuadai Tucson 2.0 CDI

We have a 56 plate 2.0 CRTD which we bought in January. Due to our present circumstances (living in van!) we haven't been away as such, but did take the van for a practice tow a couple of weeks ago and it performed really well, especially up a long steep hill on the A1079. This was towing an Avondale Osprey (1500 fully laden, which it very nearly was). Solo it gets around 28-36mpg and towing it was around 24-28mpg according to the onboard computer. Very comfy, and lovely to drive, especially the cruise control. Just been up to Scotland (vanless) around 280 miles and only 3/4 tank max. I believe the maximum tow is 1600kgs) Only niggle is boot is a little too small and the boot cover is in the wrong position to make it useful. First proper test is on Thursday when we will be going to Cropton, North Yorks from Hull which includes 3 very steep hills (Grimston).

Will let you know after Easter!
