Hyundai Tuscon

Does anyone tow with one of these? We are thinking of buying a used one and would appreciate any feed back. We have limited funds so we are looking at 04-06 plates. Our van is a coachman pastiche 500/5.

Hi there,
I have only ever towed with a 2006 4wd CRDI GSI Tucson and so have nothing to compare it to but I would buy another one without question or doubt.
My van is an Ace Award Transtar at 1435kg MTPLM. I notice that when towing it can be a tad bouncy but this may be down to loading or maybe this happens with every towcar?? (Maybe someone else can help me with that?)
We get about 36mpg solo and only a little less when towing but like I say it's only the two of us in car and van so we're not heavily loaded in either.
The Tucson has never been in the garage for anything other than Service and the original tyres lasted til 45k and were £100 each to replace. I am planning on changing mine at the end of this year and will be looking for a 2009 replacement. They stopped making them in 2009 so 4wd models are hard to come by up here (Aberdeen). The 2wd mdel has a lower tow limit so we need the 4wd for our van.
All in all I'd strongly reccommend Hyudai's in general, we've had 6 of them now and never once had any problems. Hope this helps.
Marie
