insurance cover for seasonal tourer pitch and full awning

i own a 2004 swift challenger 4 berth caravan..which is kept on a secured site in scarborough all year we use it the beginning of season march time to september....we've encoutered a few insurance problems regarding seasonal pitched vans etc especially insuring the awning which is a isabella awning for seasonal static tourers which is put up normally beginning of may when weather starts to turn better up until september when we take it down...when i've rung around for quotes they'll not take us on for the reason the awnings perminaintly up may -sept...on explaining the awning cost well over £1000 for the reason we bought it for maximum durabilty so at the moment we are insured with caravan guard got new premium and it £350 this time...just wondered if anyone out there could help if theres cheaper insurers that are willing to help.

You could try the NFU they were pretty good when we had a large Hobby on a seasonal pitch. However, we didn't have an awning as it was not necessary due to the size of the Hobby itself. Worth a phone call.
