We are having a little problem with our newest addition barking unnecessary at times so thought we would consult an animal behaviourist. The barking is not consistent or continuous , but unnecessary on may occasions. In a way he was a sort of rescue dog as his previous owners left him on his own most of the day and he hardly went out into the garden.
He is a Yorkshire terrier and they are known for being a bit yappy, but we have not had this issue previously with any Yorky we have owned. At 9 months old he was not properly house trained when we got him, but he is now. Also he was not used to mixing with other dogs and very wary. No issue now.
We were quoted £2040.00 for 6 hours work or £340 per hour. After I got up off the floor, we emailed to state that we would give it a miss and try out own training.
