We could not watch the match as we were not going to pay, but my brother in SA was able to watch it free of charge on normal TV. Grandson went down to the match in Cardiff. Not sure if he was wearing his green and gold rugby jersey?
You should get a dodgy fire stick about £60 .

I prefer to be honest besides we do not watch that much sport and it was the last match of the tour?
I am honest, why pay silly prices when I already have a TV licence. For example, itv shows the England games but don't show Scottish, Irish or Welsh games a bit biased in my opinion.

We were living in Cardiff many years ago when SA played Wales. Wales was a lot better in the early nineties. No issue in pubs although wearing my green and gold and had numerous drinks bought for us when SA won. No animosity at all.

A couple of weeks later we went to stay up in the valleys for about 2 weeks. Walked to the pub for a drink and when he found out we were from SA the LL would not allow us to pay for any drinks. All on the house. At the time I was drinking Brains beer and OH Strongbow.
We lived in Cardiff Grangetown within sight of the Arms Park and Brains Brewery. Brains Dark being my regular tipple. You are right a fabulous atmosphere on match days.

Free channels don’t show the autumn internationals apart from S4C showing Wales. The Six Nations are normally shown on free to air. BBC and ITV split them up between themselves.

OH was born next to river Taff so a genuine Taffy. Stadium was across the river from them. Her brother and the boys used to frequent the Grange pub. When I came over it was a pub in Cowbridge Rd to watch the matches.

Small world as we lived on Blaenclydach Terrace then Ferndale Street and Sundays to Thursdays would pop over to the Grange at 2200 on those evenings. Fridays and Saturday would be in town centre places.

If you have Freesat, it's worth checking the Scottish, Northern Irish and Welsh regional versions of the main channels - I think they're in the 800 series - can't do that with Freeview or Sky.

I only have a sky box with cheapest package, need this as I am out in the sticks to get reception. My dodgy stick works over the Internet, which I have good reception. With the stick I get 100,s of channels, even films that are just released, so for £60 a year its a no brainer for me.
