I prefer to be honest besides we do not watch that much sport and it was the last match of the tour?
I am honest, why pay silly prices when I already have a TV licence. For example, itv shows the England games but don't show Scottish, Irish or Welsh games a bit biased in my opinion.

We were living in Cardiff many years ago when SA played Wales. Wales was a lot better in the early nineties. No issue in pubs although wearing my green and gold and had numerous drinks bought for us when SA won. No animosity at all.

A couple of weeks later we went to stay up in the valleys for about 2 weeks. Walked to the pub for a drink and when he found out we were from SA the LL would not allow us to pay for any drinks. All on the house. At the time I was drinking Brains beer and OH Strongbow.
We lived in Cardiff Grangetown within sight of the Arms Park and Brains Brewery. Brains Dark being my regular tipple. You are right a fabulous atmosphere on match days.

Free channels don’t show the autumn internationals apart from S4C showing Wales. The Six Nations are normally shown on free to air. BBC and ITV split them up between themselves.

OH was born next to river Taff so a genuine Taffy. Stadium was across the river from them. Her brother and the boys used to frequent the Grange pub. When I came over it was a pub in Cowbridge Rd to watch the matches.

Small world as we lived on Blaenclydach Terrace then Ferndale Street and Sundays to Thursdays would pop over to the Grange at 2200 on those evenings. Fridays and Saturday would be in town centre places.

If you have Freesat, it's worth checking the Scottish, Northern Irish and Welsh regional versions of the main channels - I think they're in the 800 series - can't do that with Freeview or Sky.

I only have a sky box with cheapest package, need this as I am out in the sticks to get reception. My dodgy stick works over the Internet, which I have good reception. With the stick I get 100,s of channels, even films that are just released, so for £60 a year its a no brainer for me.

Talking about technology and cars, it seems many people upgrade the headlights on their cars to LED which is then so strong that it blinds the drivers of oncoming cars. We now try and avoid driving in ours of darkness as these bright lights now seem to be an epidemic.

I stay legal and use OSRAM Nightbreaker 220. Big improvement on the OEM bulbs which are more geared to a longer life than good illumination.

I was out walking the dog and my phone started ringing. It was my wife enquiring if I was okay. “ yes, no problem” I replied. She had telephoned as she couldn’t see me moving on the shared location screen. When I got back she said that my location seemed to be all over the place, unlike our son’s location. He’s in the montane cloud forests of Costa Rica looking for Quetzl birds and other creatures.!!!!

No, as I don’t enable tracking apps, other than in specific circumstances, then I only authorise that as single use only. Once used its default then reverts to no tracking.
That may be correct, but there are many other apps on phones that can track your movements. I ask myself why the i.e. camera app wants access to my contacts etc, or why the play store app wants access to contacts and picture etc etc.

I don’t allow the camera or other apps to share my contacts. On the iPhone all apps with tracking capability are listed in settings and are toggled for activation. Of course if someone should install tracking spyware that may not show in the listing. But that’s the case whether you use location or not.

Same, but the question is why does that app need access to other apps etc? Very annoying!

If anyone thinks they are not able to be tracked they are sadly mistaken. It doesn't even need a smartphone to pin point someone's location just an ordinary mobile phone.
