Kampa rally 390l air awning

Hi
I have a kampa 390 air awning, the last air beam seems to buckle in wind near the middle, Contacted kampa when I bought the awning regarding air pressures. They told me recommended pressure was 7psi but not to go above, I have been pressurising it to 6.5 psi, Can anyone tell me if this is too low.
Thanks guys.

If you go higher than the recommended pressure you risk over pressuring it when the weather is hot. I would check your guy line arrangements and ensure it's pulled through properly at the top. Are you on an uneven/sloping pitch that could be affecting alignment.

Very strange ! My older Kampa Rallye Air 390 electric air pump cuts out at the recommended maximum pressure of 11psi.

Where has 7 psi come from??
It was rubbish and resides in the loft . So now I see the psi are being significantly lowered but how does that affect performance in adverse weather?

Sorry the air boys , I’m sticking to my Izzy carbon fibre x poles

How old is yours?
It wouldn’t surprise me the psi has been lowered😉
Honestly don't know as I bought it second hand. My suspicion is 2017 or so as they didn't make the Expert Classic 380 for very long.
I might try a lower psi next time out, tubes are very hard at 9psi.

Our old Kampa was 9 psi. It went pop in 2018. However this was more due to 8 or 9 years of heavy use( 100mph winds and being left up for weeks at a time on a seasonal pitch 😊). I couldn’t complain tbf.
