I have a chance of a kia ceed sw 16 diesel 116 hp it has a towing capacity of 1400kg braked my xplores has a max of 1300 kg. anyone have any experience of these cars?
 
Don't know about a tow car, but just as a car, they go like the clappers and cheap to run. Had one while my Sorento was off the road for a week.

we have a hyundai 130 estate 116bhp diesel. same bunny as the kia. ours is the 6 speed, and only 3500 on the clock. we pull a ranger max wt 1200kg. Acceleration not quite up to our previous golf, 130 bhp, but better handling and miles cheaper to run.ours will cruise at 60 in 6th on a decent road, and not really run in yet. big bonus, no cam belts to change every 3 years
