I have recently purchased a Kia Sedona 2.9 diesel auto and a twin axle caravan. Later this year I will be towing to France and Spain. Does anyone out there know whether I will need a cooler fitted for the auto box or does the Kia have a gearbox cooler already fitted.
 
james, check with your local dealer, but I'd be very surprised if it hasn't already got a cooler on.I have a friend who tows a 1500kg van with his second Sedona auto, and he's not had any problems.
 
James, when we bought our Sorento it was the first auto we had owned and like you I was concerned if additional coolong would be required for towing. Did as emmerson suggested and checked with the dealer who confirmed that oil cooler was fitted and no additional cooling was required.
