hi

im towing at the moment with an omega estate 2.0 ltr

but its ageing fast with over 125thou on the clock

iam looking at a 2001 model of a kia sportage but am having probs finding kerb wieght specs and general info on towing with

said car. any info would be great.

our van is an avondale rialto 535/5

further to my last posting, the 2.0 petrol has a kwt of 1543kg,this figure applies up to about the 2003,there is no manufacturers limit mentioned but if anything there figure would be above the 1543[ i would be surprised if it were lower]

According to the Kia website, the kerbweight for the current model is between 1542kg and 1703kg, depending on the specification and the max. towload is 1400kg for the 2WD and 1600kg for all 4WD models.
