We're looking at heading back to Devon in July and this site is in the right area for us wanting to visit Becky Falls. As our summer holidays start the week before the rest of the country we can get there early July and miss the usual family exodus down south so the cahnaces are it'll be fairly child free the week we're looking at.

It isn't cheap, but ignoring cost and kids, anyone been recently to offer any comments? It looks a nice site with fully serviced pitches, we've done most of the CAMHC/C&CC sites in the area to death over the years.

We stayed at Cofton which is not far away. The area is quite pleasant to visit, but We went at Easter so probably the reason for inflated prices at places nearby.

What is worth doing is catching the train from Exmouth to Newton Abbot as the line runs along the coast and the scenery is great.

Just to add from there we travelled to Christchurch staying at the CAMC site in Ringwood. Since then we have found other commercial sites in the Christchurch area that offer better value than the CAMC.

We stayed at Lady’s mile many, many, many years ago. As it was so long ago, I won’t comment on the site as it will be very different now, I imagine. When we went it was very much family and children focused. I seem to remember that the walk to the beach was rather long, and the beach itself not amazing. But as I said it was a long time ago.
