We have laminate peeling/cracking on cupboard trims or whatever they are called, not the doors but the fancy bit of edging underneath. We have a Sterling Eccles Jade 1999 model.
Does anyone know where we can get replacement parts or where we can get them made. It is generally all the edges and the trim alongside the kitchen unit going from worktop to floor near the door.
We tried a local dealers today, who said the caravan would be too old and Swift would not have the parts! Surely I could ones from a newer model, just have no idea how to go about it.
If anyone can help advise I would be so grateful. The rest of the fittings are fine, but these make the caravan look worn and tired.
Thank you

Hi, I have had a similar thing on my Sterling Europa 525. Essentially, where the kettle lives, above that we have had some of the laminate peeling. It appeared to be paper backed, so im guessing in the sun, it has become brittle and the glue has dried out. I have just renewed the entire piece with a Fablon type covering that I purchased from B&Q. I looked into trying to obtain the original covering from the manufacturer, but after circa 10 minutes googling (i dont have a brilliant attention span! :) ) I gave up, plus I noted that the colour of the original has bleached somewhat in the sun. The match isnt brillian, but I have replaced the entire top locker area on the nearside, took the doors and brackets of, then over cut a piece, took my time with a credit card and a very sharp craft knife. Although the patch isnt spot on, its close enough for me. In addition, I have wrapped the ends inside the unit as before it was just cut on the edge.
You might be able to get a close enough match and recover? There is a good online place that I belive you can order samples from to match?
Cheers
Rob
