Late BHol site in Northern England -Barnard's Castle, Hadrian...

Hi Folks

We're looking for a site in one of the above areas for the Bank Holiday week. I KNOW it's very late but an ill son prevents making early plans.

We have a 7.2 metre van and like quiet sites with countryside view and near/views of lakes/rivers. Don't need clubhouses, etc, but would like EHU.

We fancy the above areas as not too far away for our first tow with the new tow car (Kia Sorento)

The Barnard Castle Camping and Caravan Club site at Lartington gets great reviews. We don't go here as it's too close to home. It may be fully booked for the Bank Holiday though.
