Le clarys Plage - from Calais

Two questions really

First: has anyone stayed at the site Clarys Plage in St Jean De monts? If so whats its like etc.

Secondly: has anyone driven to St jean from Calais, if so how long did it take and would you do it again or would you choose a closer ferry route.

Fairly busy site plenty going on. Good pool and slides. You can walk through a small gate in the site directly to supermarket.

A good beach about 5 mins. walk from the site. Although close to busy coast road the site is reasonably quiet. Easy drive to Jean de Monts. We were there 3 years ago.
 
Should have added its a long drive from Calais about 475 miles.

We have always gone from Cherbourg (248 miles) or better still St Malo (161 miles)
