Gill, We went there a few years ago, it has a fantastic pool complex and is only a short walk from a lovely sandy beach. We went there when the children were at junior school so went out of season (first two weeks of July), it was fairly busy then, so can't comment on what it would be like at peak season. As with most sites on the Vendee, it is well maintained in terms of cleaniness and there is a back entrance on site to get to the supermarket,
