We are on a seasonal pitch but everytime we go home we pull the electric hook up cable out of the socket because at our site it a meter system and take the card with us and we just switch off the fridge and at the door panel press off so far everything seems to be working fine

If I recall correctly on my Sprite with a Sargent PSU the 12v button had to be in when towing as it set up the caravan systems for towing. When in store it was Out but it still didn’t isolate everything as I found the radio still active, plus the electric flush on the loo. Whilst the loo wasn’t a problem I had to separately isolate the radio.
Yes some bits can still work, hence why I said on some the fridge would be still live, but I did fail to mention loo and radio 👍
