If like us you own a Bailey Ranger 550/6 and you find the rear of the van by the bunks to be a bit dark and gloomy and you are having to leave the lights on or leave the door open, we have found a solution to our problem.

For a cost of about £180 we have had fitted a Mini Heiki roof light in the rear area and this has transformed the dark and gloomy space and given much more natural light.

Also while van was at the dealers we had it serviced and some warranty work carried out. One of the problems we had was in lighting the oven and keeping it lit and how hot the worktop above was getting. The dealers fitted, via Baileys advice, an external vent on the side of the van. They said that the oven was starving itself of oxygen and stuffing itself out, also the vent should allow more air circulation around the back of the oven solving both problems.

The main problem the van was in for was the TCP water system, the dealers have fitted new water pipes throughout the van and at the moment all seems well............

All this on a van less than a year old.
