L'Etang de la Breche

Hi, off to L'Etang de la Breche in the Loire valley come august, has anyone been there and is the site easy to find? I have looked for directions on their website, but none shown, so any hint will be gratefully recieved.

Hi Gary,

L'Etang de la Breche near Saumur? We were there for 3 or 4 days a few years ago - they are part of the Castels group - and they have a map on www.les-castels.com

But I seem to remember it is about 10 km East of Saumur on the N152, North bank of the Loire.

The N152 runs along the top of the levee and you take a slip road down to the camp ground. It's far enough from the roads so you won't hear traffic - just the odd train in the far distance some early mornings.

Robert, thanks for that. Found the map, which is just as well as I thought it was on the other side of the river, for some reason!
