Lexus RX 350

Carolyn Ive not heard any reports about the Lexus but did read the review in Practical Caravan as I wanted one of these ,we did find one went home and read P>C> and sad to say they dont have a very good write up for towing I think they said it was very soft on the back

I really dont want you think Im against them in anyway cos I do like them.

Just to sum up........ how many do you see with a tow bar??????

The choice is yours

Regards Sir Roger

There was one on the site we stayed on this week, looked very nice.

Unfortunately it broke down while leaving site.

Last seen on a tow truck, with the van on tow behind.

But i'm sure its not a common sight?

I'll be able to report on my own experience soon as I will be getting its brother, the RX400h in June/July.

Should have been a bit clearer as we do actually have one but as newbies have only towed about hundred miles so just looking to see if there are any pitfalls before we set off in 10 days for 6 mths around Europe. Hopefully we wont end up on the back of a tow truck but agree you dont see many towing!!!We do love the car though.

I towed for about 1.5 years with a RX300 converted to LPG and had no problems at all, we took it to Europe several times covering thousands of miles. It is a very comfortable tow car and I doubt you will ever break down, they are about the most reliable cars you can get.
