It is a nice site. It's a CC site but privately owned. From memory the owner lives off site in the main street of Newcastleton hence why you might not get an answer outwith normal hours.

thankyou colin, weve got in elsewhere, but we will be booking to go in a few weeks time, thankyou again, ED

The site seemed crowded & cramped when we arrived last year & there was no allocated dog walk so I wasn't impressed, but it turned out to be one of the best stops we had on our 6 week holiday because Newcastleton is unique, the locals are so friendly, it's so clean & the pub in the square was brilliant for a meal. We felt as if we had turned the clock back 30 years!
