Snap! We too spent ages deciding the best spot to stick the boards - and didn't see another soul! Ours came off as soon as we crossed the border back into France. Won't be bothering again!

Agreed, but on the same basis, 2.5m wide foreign-registered caravans should be allowed into the UK. On paper they aren't, so it's a matter of tolerance.

I have a letter from the Department of Transport that what you are saying is not the case.
