lost Thetford locker key

Hi everyone, we have lost the key to our new Thetford Cassette toilet "filler-cap" door . Contacted them for assistance, no help what-so-ever, answered me in Dutch. Got onto Leisure Shop Direct who passed me on to Kenmore Caravans.
They suggested that without the key the only way was to break open the door-hinge, lift out the mechanism and then get the key number from the barrel as spare Thetford keys are available from places like Amazon & Ebay.

Didn't work I'm afraid, my barrel piece bears no relationship at all to those being sold around the internet as mine is a sealed-unit and there seems no way to open it to look at the 'barrel'.

The key is normally the same number as fits all the other lockers

Strange that Thetford routed the call to the Netherlands. When I worked over there I’d be hard pressed to find anyone who couldn’t speak good English. I assume your other keys don’t work as it’s a new unit. Shouldn’t it have come with two keys?Anyway hope that you get it resolved.
