Hi
Thanks for having me here..
I’m Phil and after caravanning some 30 years ago before venturing overseas with work I’m venturing back out.
I’m running on a shoe-string at the moment as I’m not sure how the family will take to it.

I bought a cheap-ish Bailey Ranger. It had a previous damp issue which was repaired but not the after effect. I’ve stripped out the Shower room and replaced the paneling. I was surprised how easy it was to do. Other odd things like converting the electrics and checking everything works.

only thing left is the heater blower motor needs replacing. I’m ****** if I’ll pay £100 to Thurma for a new one. I’ve sourced on Similar dimensions £10 on eBay. Fingers crossed for similar speed but I’ll need to Drill out the fan as it’s a 5mm shaft against a 4mm hole.

Got myself a very cheap Kampa Frontier Awning 400 which has seen better days but still functional. A few leaking valves (Broken washers) but easy fixes. It looks like it’s been on a seasonal pitch as it’s faded and I ‘be used a lottle bit of reinforcing tape to a few tears

Off to Wales next week after the shake down cruise last weekend

Fingers crossed

Oh!! And the Mitzy tows really great!!!😌

Welcome to the Forum, and hope the trip to Wales goes well. Those Mitsi’s were ahead of their time.
