Can't offer any towing advice but we took one of these for a test drive when searching for a towcar and both felt that it drove like a tank. There wasn't much leg room for the kids in the middle row either although the back seats definitely had more legroom than our then car, a petrol Zafira. In the end, we plumped for another Zafira only this time a 1.9 cdti 150 bhp. Tows our 1390kgs caravan very well and is a great solo drive which is important to us as we do most of our mileage solo.
