Mondeo 2.0 Zetec petrol

Found a Mondeo 2litre petrol Zetec on an 04 plate. Looking to buy it I think. Whats the maximum it can tow please anyone? We have an Abbey GTS Vogue 212 with a weight of 1120. will this be ok? Anyone think this will be a good enough car?

It is quite difficult to find the kerb weights of different models of the Mondeo. I have a 2006 Mondeo Edge 2.0 TDCi and none of the websites (or the Caravan Club have its kerb weight and the handbook of the car doesn't either! What I can say is that having owned 2 2.0L Diesel Mondeos (02 TDDI and now 06 TDCI) the diesel feels much more powerful to drive than the 2.0L petrol (I have driven a hired Mondeo 2.0L petrol). I would imagine it would tow the caravan but I would recommend looking out for a Diesel version.

Just put in all your details and it will give you a report,i have a 2003 2ltr tdci and would advise you to try for that model instead,it has a lot of good reviews for towing.
