Hi

We are off out tomorrow to look at a 54 plate Mondeo 2.0 tdci 130 Ghia and wanted to know what the noseweight is. Some websites are saying 75 kg and others 80kg. Please could someone tell me.

It varies the newer the model, the higher the nose limit, someone on this site mentioned a 90kg limit for the latest version.
 
Hello Sam,

The limit should be stamped on a data plate fixed to the tow-bar. If you cannot find it, then I must warn you not to use the information supplied on this site, as it cannot be verified.

You must speak or write to the supplier of the tow bar, quote any information you have on heh car and bar and they should tell you what the limit is for your car with that ball.

The nose weight limit is set by the car manufacture, possibly the towbar could be designed to carry less, but this has never happened in my experience.

That is while using witter bars.
