Mondial Camping in the Ardeche

Wwe are thinking of taking our caravan to the Ardeche next year in early July. Has anyone stayed at Mondial Camping and have any good or bad comments that may help us decide if to book. There will be two caravans and we would like to be able to book adjacent pitches, is this possible.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Haven't stayed there - but next door at L'Ardechois - and visited the bar with friends. It's a nice site, in a good sunny situation, adjacent to the river. The pool's lovely (not huge, and no fancy slides, etc.) Bar staff were friendly (we were there rather a lot!!). Pitches are a good size, and well grassed - and there's plenty of shade. You have direct access to the river, with a launch ramp for canoes - and opposite is a pebble beach, where lots of people take picnics across. Vallon is a great tourist town, with lots of restaurants, a great market twice weekly, and the gorges of the Ardeche are fantastic (best viewed from a canoe - loads of places to arrange this). Lovely area - and loads to do and see - but the gorge roads are busy later in July - so go as early as you are able in July!

Thank you. Do you think the site was better than L'Ardechois.
