Hello has anyone been to this campsite please? What is access like? Good showers? Peaceful? Nice pitches? Any feedback appreciated. Thanks mandy
 
We went in 2007.It is very handy for Charmouth/Lyme Regis etc and access to the site is no problem as it is just off the main road.It is split into a number of areas so you never see all the vans at one time,most pitches a ok but we could not get a hardstanding even though we had booked one and this was because many pitches are 'reserved' for vans in storage that are pulled out and sited as required.When we were there some vans were pulled out and sited and not occupied the whole time we were there.They are undertaking a new development of wooden lodges but this should not interfere with the tourers.Toilets/showers are good and kept clean.Also close by is Axminster with a tesco and Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall shop River Cottage.
