Motor Driver

Hello,
I'm new to the whole caravan world and seems there's a lot to learn.

I purchased a caravan which has a motor mover but didn't have the remote, I have sourced a remote but can't get it to engage because there is something underneath that spins, I presume its should be clamped. Any ideas if I can get a clamp? Or any other advice welcome. Also looking the bar is bent, should this be straight?

Thanks

I would suggest perhaps the person you bought the caravan from woukd be tgebest person to ask I the first instance.
Also it woukd help if you coukd say what tge make of the mover is, and any model type, such as Reich, Pwrtouch, etc

Helo Bobssy, Welcome to the forum.

When starting a technical question, it really helps us if you can give us us chapter and verse Make Model and year of caravan, and the same for any specific appliances you are asking about. We are then in a much better position to give focused advice.

Thanks the van is an Abbey Freestyle 560 and the mover is a Reich 527-0521.

I also have a video of what's happening but can't upload due to file size

I have sourced the remote and paired and the mover works. However the part in the picture in the middle of the bar spins when trying to engage with the wheels so it doesn't move.

No, I have tried but as you can see in the video, they whole unit spins. So I am assuming that there must have been a clamp that holds it in place so just the bar should spin.

I think It’s a drop plate, so if a side skirt or something is in the way it allows the mover to be fitted slightly lower so the mover missis it
