Motor Mover problem

Hi, my motor mover works for a few seconds and cuts out, I have to shut down the remote and turn it on again before it goes for a few seconds, I have tried it with no load and still stops working, my lesure battery is 13.7v, I changed the battery in the remote but still no joy, can anyone help me please?

Absolutely typical of the caravan's battery being unable to hold any useful amount of "energy".
Just measuring the peak off load volts is information-wise useless, it only indicates its as "fully charged" with energy as it is now capable of being, which can be very little.

I second the, check the battery terminals are tight advice. We had a similar problem that was down to an only slightly loose battery terminal connection.
Good luck

Get an assistant to measure the battery voltage while you operate the mover. It might well drop a long way.
Agree first thing to check. It may be the Battery end of life or the Red isolator switch the trouble with bad contacts. I have had the Isolator cause the problem with a previous caravan. Replaced it and problem cured. Being on my drive I actually operated mover from inside the Caravan with my meter connected to the control box input terminals, as all it travelled was very little before cutting out, This indicated the isolation switch as the Battery volts checked from outside the caravan did not drop.
